Women's Career Day
Join us for our Women Careers Day this July. Held at our state of the art Training Academy in Blackburn, you’ll get to learn more about the different roles on offer in our organisation (it’s not all about engineering), our benefits package and what it’s like to be a woman working in a utility company.
We offer a variety of roles at Electricity North West from HR, IT and cyber, finance, estates and wayleaves through to customer service and of course engineering roles. Come along to find out what exactly they entail.
You’ll also get to learn more about:
- Rewards and benefits for working here- including pension, money saving rewards portal and overview of our family policies you may wish to use in the future such as maternity and flexible working.
- Live demonstrations- we’ll have engineers carrying out live demonstrations in our training ground.
- Live panel sessions with current colleagues
- Grab a brew with our colleague resource groups- our groups offer a safe space for our colleagues to share experiences and discuss ways of improving inclusion at work and in our communities. We’ll have colleagues from our menopause matters, working parents & carers, neurodiversity, women empowered, ethnic minority armed forces, access-ability and LGBT+ groups on hand to talk about the support we provide to colleagues.
