Regional Stakeholder Workshops
Regional stakeholder workshops
Our regional stakeholder engagement addresses the significant differences across our region and recognises that priorities may change for our stakeholders residing in rural Cumbria to the urban centres of Greater Manchester.
Our regional stakeholder events take place annually across Greater Manchester, Cumbria and Lancashire. The workshops aim to understand our stakeholder’s priorities around the North West and drive our current and future business plan.
Our business plan is used to monitor our performance and as a starting point for our engagement and to ensure that we deliver what we said we would. Read more about our 2023 - 2028 Business Plan here.
To ensure we are engaging with a variety of stakeholders we have partnered with key organisations across our region, including the local authorities, in order to reach a wider group of stakeholders within the local communities.
Our 2024 annual stakeholder regional events took place in November, in partnership with our stakeholder advisory panel chairs. This year’s key themes included our investment plan for 2023-2028, our delivery strategy and what we have delivered so far and updates on environment & biodiversity, innovation – including our Net Zero terrace project, and consumers in vulnerable circumstances and the Take Charge campaign to support customers with debt advice and the low carbon energy transition.
Check out our Regional investment booklets which supplemented these events and outline the investments being made in your region.
Regional investment booklets
We have developed region-specific booklets which detail our investment during RII0-ED1 and RII0-ED2. The range of booklets is available to download here.
