Decarbonising public buildings

 

Overview:

We help in developing and executing public sector decarbonisation projects. Additionally, we offer support in securing external funding, including access to the Government’s Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme.  The scheme supports the aim of reducing emissions from public sector buildings by 75% by 2037, compared to a 2017 baseline.

How we can help:

Our specialised teams collaborate with local authorities to evaluate the feasibility of technologies being considered for their compatibility with the network.  If modifications to the network are required, we meticulously plan these changes and determine responsible parties for associated expenses.  We endeavour to cover costs whenever feasible, aligning with Ofgem's introduced changes in April 2023 through the ‘Access Significant Code Review’, to reduce the cost of connecting low carbon technologies.  Furthermore, our team guides you through the formal approval process required to connect to our network, if deemed necessary.
