Whole systems register

Whole systems register

As the energy system transition towards net zero, efficient decision-making on energy network planning and operation requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a full range of solutions. These solutions may lie outside of our existing processes and may be found through collaborative working with other industries and stakeholders. This type of collaborative working is defined as 'whole system' as it takes into account a range of factors and outside influences to provide solutions.

As part of standard licence condition 7A, we have provided a comprehensive list of whole system activities that we are undertaking which allow us to develop and maintain our network in an efficient, coordinated and economical manner.

The whole systems register is located at the bottom of this page. It will be updated periodically and aims to signpost you to the various ongoing initiatives in this space.

As part of this we would welcome any feedback via email. There is also a user suggestion tab that highlights when we have received a suggestion related to whole systems, reviewed it and processed it to a next stage. When reviewing this document please feel free to email us with any suggestions you may have and we will be happy to review this.
