BiTraDER customer workshop

Design and develop trading 'rules'

We’re recruiting participants from across GB to take part in workshops, interviews and surveys to help us develop a set of trading ‘rules’ to build into the trading platform we’re developing as part of our project. This trading platform will empower connected customers to make bilateral trades of their curtailment obligation within the merit order stack.

We will be developing the design of the platform this financial year, and are looking for customers to participate in autumn 2022.

BiTraDER simulation trials

We’re currently recruiting participants from across GB to take part in our simulated trials, where we will be testing our new trading platform in a simulated environment. We will be developing models using real-world data, asset and network characteristics and information to test how the trading platform operates in near-real world scenarios.

We are looking for customers to help us build (anonymised) models of connected assets to plug into our network model and run in the simulation with the trading platform, as well as participate in a series of ‘war games’ to test the market. We will be holding our simulated trials in 2024-25.

BiTraDER live network trials
