This library contains all documents associated with the customer workstream for QUEST.

The QUEST trials will involve making adjustments to the network voltage to deliver benefits to customers. The trials will be conducted at one GSP, from the National Grid intake through the network and down to the domestic customer at LV, an area supplying electricity to approximately 158,000 customers.

We have three main customer focus areas for the QUEST project:

  • Customer experience – revalidate view that customers do not discern voltage change as a result of more dynamic network operation.
  • Sensitive customers – establish needs and provide guidance to HV & EHV customers with sensitive equipment.
  • Voltage managed connections – assess technical ability and customer appetite for voltage managed connections.
