QUEST full submission

In November 2020 Ofgem announced its decision to award our full funding request of £7.95m for QUEST through the Network Innovation Competition (NIC).

The NIC is an annual opportunity for network operators to compete for funding for the development and demonstration of new technologies and operating or commercial arrangements.

To win, we had to demonstrate to a panel of industry experts that QUEST is transferrable to other DNOs and will provide environmental benefits, reduce costs, and maintain security of supply as we move towards a low carbon economy.
