Call for innovation June 2022

If you have an idea for an innovation project that could help us solve a problem in one of our focus areas or more broadly, we would love to hear from you. We are raising this call to appeal to our stakeholders for ideas that can be turned into projects for future funding requests.

Please refer to our new innovation strategy, which describes our future challenges and opportunities, and our call for innovation June 2022 for more details.

Scope

To help focus things a little, we are currently looking for projects with a maximum value of £150k that can be delivered before the end of March 2023. We envisage these projects being desktop studies which could inform future larger-scale projects. There are some key areas in which we are currently looking to innovate:

• Consumer vulnerability
• Data

Next steps

The deadline for this call is 17:00 on 30th June 2022, and all submissions must be made via our online form. At this point we will start the careful consideration of all responses. 

We aim to contact you within 60 days to let you know whether or not we wish to proceed with an application to fund your idea. Please note that we will endeavour to provide feedback if requested but, depending on the volume, it may not be possible to answer all questions received.

All ideas submitted will be treated as confidential and we will respect fully any intellectual property of the originator, regardless of whether we choose to progress with an application for funding.
