Chronic and serious illness

If you or someone you care for is seriously ill or suffering from a chronic illness, we recommend registering for priority services so we can keep you up to date.

How can we help? 

  • keep your contact details up to date with us and we will prioritise your call straight through to a dedicated team member
  • using your preferred method of contact, we will keep you updated about when we will get your power back on
  • you can add nominated contacts who we can communicate with on your behalf such as family members and carers
  • talk to you about your individual care plan needs and the support that we can provide during a power cut
  • we can provide hot food and drinks to keep you comfortable when appropriate
  • if staying at home is unsafe during a power cut, we can help find you alternative accommodation as required.
