Planned power cuts

Planned power cuts

A planned power cut is a scheduled interruption of the electricity supply when we need to perform essential maintenance, upgrades, or repairs. This ensures the network remains safe, reliable, and efficient.

We're committed to maintaining and improving the network

We invest millions every year into maintaining the local network. This helps us to ensure all areas of the Northwest region have a safe and secure supply of electricity for the future. Sometimes, this requires us to temporarily interrupt your supply so our engineers can work safely.

Our goal is to minimise disruptions to your daily life by carefully planning our work. We will always notify you in advance before we plan to interrupt your supply, unless it is an emergency.
