You will receive a card in the post to inform you about the planned power cut ten days before. If we have your contact details, we will email and text you six days and one day before the planned power cut.

Why might the planned power cuts be postponed or cancelled?

Bad weather

If it isn't safe for our engineers to carry out the work in dangerous conditions.

Emergency fault

Our engineers may need to attend an emergency fault repair in the area.

No longer required

We have been able to fix the problem and no longer require to turn the power off.
